MyoWare Muscle Sensor Module SEN-13723
The thing that uses our muscle control is that most of us are used to doing this. Our buttons, pull the joystick, the action of the joystick… But what kind of button, lever and joystick equation can we take? This is the MyoWare Muscle Sensor, an Arduino powered, all-in-one electromyography (EMG) from the padding technology sensor. The behavior of the MyoWare plate is measured by measuring the muscles and correcting the electrical activity; the output 0-VS depends on the selected muscle, where VS represents the voltage activity of the power supply. It’s that simple: stick it on a few electrodes (not including tax), read the voltage output and bend the muscles!
The MyoWare Muscle Sensor is the latest version of the old muscle sensor, and now with a new wearable design, you can connect directly to the biomedical sensor pad itself to get rid of those annoying cables. This new board also includes other new features including: +3.1V single supply voltage + 5V voltage, RAW EMG output, polarity protected power pin, LED indicator, and (final) On / Off switch pendulum. In addition, we have developed some shielding (cable, power and original) that can be connected to the Chicken muscle sensor to help improve its versatility and functionality!
Measuring muscle activity by detecting its potential, called electromyography (EMG), has traditionally been used in medical research. However, with the advent of ever-shrinking but more powerful microcontrollers and integrated circuits, EMG circuits and sensors have found their way into various control systems.
